Sword Blade Construction The Blade shape was drawn onto and cut out of a piece of MDF using my Dremel, and an electric sander was used on the edges to bring them to points.

Sword Blade Fitting
Prepping For Paint I covered the hilt and handle in layers of automotive primer and sanded it smooth, ready for paint to be added.
Pommel Construction Built up a cardboard framework around the end of the handle and then built up layers of putty before sanding it to shape.

Gold highlights Golden highlight present on the sword hilt, cut from brass and filed and sanded down.
Clay Hilt Model
Gem Setting Brass construction of the centre-piece that holds the gem. Engraved on the sides I wrote "Blade of Evils Bane" in Twilight Princess style Hylian text.
Handle Wrapping pt. 2 Subsequent pieces of thinner black leather strips were then wrapped along the length of the handle in a criss-cross pattern.
More Gold Highlights The gold pieces placed where the hilt meets the blade, as well as the pieces that run up the blade.
Components Painted. Spray painted the hilt in a Bermuda blue, and the blade in an Aluminium paint.
Completed Master Sword Model Fine details added and render created.
Handle Wrapping pt. 1 The handle was first wrapped in a single large piece of black leather.
