I was born in New York and grew up in London in a large, eccentric and wonderful family. From my experiences as a child growing up with American parents in Britain, I found from a young age that I was fascinated by people, travel and cultural characteristics. Following school, I chose a degree in Comparative Religion, where I specialised in Hinduism. This degree paved the road to India where I spent four months researching and photographing the 1998 Maha Kumbh Mela in Haridwar. Through the eye of my first camera, initiated in the soft light that is so unique in India, I became fully immersed in capturing this extraordinary festival. This event changed in many ways the course of my life, leading me on my first steps towards my career and igniting an irrevocable love for photography. Inspired by this newfound passion, I went on to study at The London College of Printing and later specialised in portraiture at Central St Martins in London. Through my pictures I search to portray my fascination in both the frailty and beauty of the places and people I have encountered. I am now living with my husband and two kids in Marseille in the south of France.

My name is Laura Gedvilaite, and I am a student in Lithuania. 1995 I was born in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. 2004 I started taking art classes, which encouraged me to continue my intensive desire to engage fashion design, art, and international relations activities. To achieve the higher level, at the age of ten, my extrovert personality and skills led me to enter the best art school "Justinas Vienozinskis" in the capital of Lithuania. During my studying time, I had the opportunity to work as an assistant of the visual merchandiser at Marks and Spencer store in Lithuania. I believe that my personality and essential skills will help me to reach my goals.

I\'ve been interested in computer graphics, desktop publishing, brand design, and advertising in one way or another since 1984. Career-wise, I\'ve always been on a marketing track, and that has usually included having some sort of hand in creative and brand development. I currently work as a full-time freelance designer, creating all sorts of marketing collateral and assisting my clients with corporate branding decisions. I particularly enjoy print creative, am diving into web and mobile app design, and I am a pit bull when it comes to branding efforts.

Behind the lens and at a beach is the most amazing feelings i can have. There is so many things to take photos of. I like to take photos of anything and everything that catches my eyes, it does not matter if i see a rock in the middle of the road... if i want to take a picture of that rock then i will if its what i desire in that moment.
