To be honest, I am a work in progress. I am a sophomore in college that is aspiring to be a graphic designer. My hobbies include drawing, typography, and photography. As for experience, high school provided me with amazing opportunities. I took on the publicity position for two clubs at Troy High School. This entailed me to make flyers, programs, posters, and apparel designs. My junior and senior year of high school I was involved in yearbook. I utilized my creativity by designing our 50th yearbook. Shamaila is a graduate of the University of Houston where she majored in Interior Design and minored in Architecture. She has also done post graduate studies in Interior Design at the distinguished National College of Arts where she experimented with furniture design. Design has always been a part of her life ever since she was a teenager. She designed sets for theatrical plays and from there discovering her passion for Interiors she pursued her degree and now has a successful career in Interior Design. Having worked for both reputable corporate and residential design firms she has well rounded experience and is able to pursue both facets of the industry effectively. She is LEED certified in Commercial Interiors making her current for the ever evolving market trends along with other certifications. In addition, Shamaila has lived in Africa, South Asia and now the USA which gives a an edge as an interior designer professional as she can easily adapt to a client and add that diversity to her designs.Her hobbies are painting, writing and spending time with her family.
