Hi, my name is Rebecca Rees and I am a BA (Hons) Fashion Design (Industrial) graduate from the University of Leeds. Having specialised primarily in womenswear for my degree, I see myself as a creative individual with an aptitude for design whilst also having a solid understanding of the fashion and retail industry as a whole. The third year of my university course allowed me to have a year out from university to work for two major high street retailers, John Lewis and Mothercare. During this time I worked as a childrenswear assistant designer and also an assistant buyer for a shorter period of time. Having developed a keen interest in this area, I am now actively searching for future career in childrenswear design. Overall, the opportunity to work in a busy and fast paced head office environment provided me with valuable vocational experience and challenged my abilities. Additionally, I feel that I have proven myself to be extremely hard working and a reliable team player from my successes at University and work experience.

Born with a creative bent of mind, I have always looked at things differently, rather - 'Creatively'. It was this undying urge which got me involved in creative pursuits like painting, photography, interior designing, fashion designing, etc. and most importantly helped me decide what I wanted to do in my career.
